Collaborative Law
A somewhat new concept in the legal world, collaborative law is a route for people to resolve their divorce issues in an open and respectful manner, reaching a mutual settlement through the exchange of interests, ideas and options.
Leslie is well trained in this specific legal approach, which can be greatly beneficial to many divorcing couples.

The Process
The collaborative law process often involves four-way meetings with the divorcing couple and their attorneys who are specifically trained for this approach. In many cases, the parties retain financial professionals, child specialists and coaches, who agree to work cooperatively to gather and share all of the information needed to reach an agreement.
The parties and their collaborative attorneys agree to resolve all issues outside of court during the process. However, if the parties are unable to reach an agreement and one party decides to go to court, the collaborative professionals will withdraw and litigation attorneys will step in.
